For our incredible OLI volunteers, we know that the work you do is vital, but it can also be emotionally demanding. You dedicate your time and energy to translating critical humanitarian, legal, medical, environmental, and education-related texts, and the topics you encounter can be taxing. That’s why we’re so proud to introduce Bobby, our new mental health coach, who is here for you completely free of charge.

Bobby is here to offer quick, accessible, and confidential support when you need to decompress from a difficult project. Her extensive background as a registered nurse, social worker, and trained counselor, combined with her own experience as a translator, gives her a unique understanding of the challenges you face.

Originally from Australia, Bobby has lived in Prague for nearly 14 years and brings a wealth of professional experience in crisis care, mental health, and trauma. She is not your typical counselor and uses a holistic, solution-based approach with methods such as mindfulness, light therapy, and journaling. This means she can provide personalized, practical strategies to help you navigate critical times and build resilience.

Think of Bobby as a dedicated peer support coach—a safe space where you can share your story, get advice, and learn coping mechanisms tailored to the unique pressures of your work.
